We are engineers and designers that are passionate about what we do – we take ideas and make them into working products.  We’re creative, sharp, and dedicated to doing things right.  A 219er is the kind of person that builds robots in his/her spare time. 

219 was founded in 2004 by a group of graduate students that had met in Stanford's ME218 Smart Product Design class.  We all shared an interest in making complex designs come to life both inside and outside of the classroom.  Over the last six years we have created a systematic approach for executing super-cool projects under grueling deadlines.
